We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High-Level Administrative Professional to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Surgical & Thoracic Surgery Program, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and high-quality administrative services. You will be responsible for providing confidential and time-sensitive administrative duties, prioritizing tasks, and managing your workflow to ensure quality and efficiency. Your excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will enable you to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as AdobeSign.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment to resolve complex issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to prepare agendas, manage communications, and follow up on outstanding action items.
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare high-quality concise minutes.
  • Develop and implement effective administrative systems and processes to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Medical Administration or related discipline from a recognized Community College preferred.
  • 3-5 years of senior-level secretarial experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Recent healthcare/hospital experience preferred.
