Collision Repair Technician

Port Moody Collision is seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized workspace, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
- Repair and Replace Body Components: Use advanced techniques and tools to repair and replace damaged body components, including front end, body, doors, and frame.
- File, Grind, and Sand Body Surfaces: Utilize specialized equipment to file, grind, and sand body surfaces to achieve a smooth finish.
- Mask and Tape Auto Body Surfaces: Apply protective coatings and tape to auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
- Hammer Out Dents and Defects: Use blocks and hammers to remove dents and defects from vehicle bodies.
- Remove and Replace Damaged Fenders and Panels: Safely remove and replace damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
- Repair or Replace Interior Components: Restore interior components to their original condition, including upholstery, carpets, and trim.
- Straighten Bent Frames: Use specialized equipment to straighten bent frames and restore vehicle stability.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week.
