About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Designer to join our team at Figurr Architects Collective. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Planning
    • Develop detailed specifications for interior spaces, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards.
    • Create interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes.
  • Technical Skills
    • Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures.
    • Develop plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings.
    • Prepare presentation graphics and drawings.
    • Estimate costs and materials.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with architects or other professionals in multidisciplinary urban design studies.
    • Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
    • 5 years or more of experience in the field.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Proficiency in ARCHICAD, 3D graphic software, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, InDesign, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and SketchUp.
    • Knowledge of the Green economy sector and specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
