About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Designer to join our team at Figurr Architects Collective. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Planning: Develop detailed specifications, plans, and 3-D models to showcase the arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures.
  • Collaboration: Work in a multidisciplinary environment with architects and other professionals to create innovative urban design studies.
  • Technical Skills: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings and three-dimensional (3-D) models.
  • Project Management: Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building codes, and estimate costs and materials.
  • Communication: Prepare presentation graphics and drawings, and collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in the field.
  • Certifications: Interior designer technical certificate.
  • Language: Bilingual.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialization: Green economy sector, specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
  • Software Skills: ARCHICAD, 3D graphic software, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, InDesign, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, SketchUp, MS Outlook.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 37.5 hours of work per week. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
