Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Water Well Pump Maintenance Specialist to join our team at WJ Groundwater Canada Ltd.

About the Job:

This is a permanent position, requiring 40-47.5 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electronics and mechanic technologies, with experience in repairing and maintaining water well pumps and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and maintain mechanical equipment
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in water well systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Supervise other workers and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Commission systems and components, and conduct preventive maintenance programs
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in industrial electronics technology/technician, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on water well pump maintenance
  • Forklift Operator Certification, First Aid Certificate, and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in noisy, dusty environments
