Job Title: Pump Mechanic and Repairer

We are seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic and Repairer to join our team at WJ Groundwater Canada Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our water well pumps and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps and piping systems
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in equipment and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts, and perform routine maintenance work on equipment
  • Supervise other workers and instruct technicians and students as needed
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 5 years or more of experience in industrial electronics technology, mechanic and repair technologies, or equivalent experience
  • First Aid Certificate and Forklift Operator Certification
