Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at DPG FOOD SERVICES INC O/A SUBWAY. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Load buspans and trays with food and supplies.
  • Place dishes in storage areas and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Keep records of food quantities used and package take-out food for customers.
  • Portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, take customers' orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, sharpen kitchen knives, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
