Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $33,850 and $43,500 per year, depending on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.

Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at BMO, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming customers warmly and meeting their banking service and transactional needs with seamless execution.
  • Identifying customer needs and initiating referrals to BMO colleagues.
  • Supporting customer requests for banking services, including handling transactions and supporting customers who walk into the branch.
  • Offering advice and guidance on available digital and self-serve options to make it easy, simple, and fast to bank with BMO.
  • Conducting needs-based conversations to identify potential opportunities and address everyday banking plans and credit card needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • No prior experience necessary; post-secondary degree or certification in a related field of study is desirable.
  • High-level knowledge of personal, commercial, and partner offers, and how each can best serve customers' individual needs.
  • Confident and experienced use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
  • A passionate commitment to helping customers and delivering a personal experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
