Concierge Role Overview

The Concierge is a vital position within our community, playing a significant role in enhancing the lives of our residents and fostering a sense of warmth and connection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to resident and visitor inquiries in a diplomatic manner, utilizing problem-solving and complaint resolution skills.
  • Promote excellent customer service in all interactions with visitors, families, residents, and team members.
  • Greet visitors and ensure their needs are addressed in a pleasant and unhurried fashion, conducting mini tours as needed.
  • Provide clerical and computer support to managers as requested.
  • Complete required records for cash transactions related to guest and team member meal vouchers/tickets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Completion of grade 12 education.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and proven customer service skills through related work experience.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check (applicable to Ontario applicants) and a Criminal Records Check (applicable to British Columbia applicants).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional applied courses in office administration.
