About Us

At Stybek Roofing Ltd., we require a skilled Financial and HR Administrator to join our team. This role involves overseeing payroll, financial administration, and HR duties to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Job Description

  • Oversight of payroll processing, including timesheets, deductions, and vacation tracking.
  • Management of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Preparation of bills, tax payments, invoices, and schedule of values for projects.
  • Submission of receipts and management of expenses in the bookkeeping software.
  • Preparation of reports for senior management review.
  • Ensuring accuracy and adherence to licensing, insurance, and certification requirements.

HR Duties

  • Maintenance and update of employee files with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Tracking of employee vacations, sick days, and other leave types in BrightHR.
  • Management of the employee training matrix, ensuring certifications and training are up-to-date.
  • Preparation of new hire packages and onboarding documentation.
  • Assistance with tracking employee performance reviews and other HR-related documentation.

Administrative Tasks

  • Answering phones professionally and managing the office email inbox.
  • Maintenance and update of the customer database in the Roof+ software.
  • Input and tracking of service tickets efficiently.
  • Management of administration for job startup, including organizing contracts, permits, and insurance documents.
  • Support of estimators by collecting data and preparing documents for the prequalification process.
  • Coordination of meetings and management of calendars for senior leadership.
  • Preparation and distribution of internal communications, reports, and meeting minutes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative or HR role, preferably in construction or a related industry.
  • Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
