Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and train new staff members, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet the high standards of our restaurant.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
  • Prepare and submit reports, providing management with accurate and timely information to inform decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical demands of the job include standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a hot kitchen environment.
