Job Title: Experienced Cook - Ethnic Food Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Busaba Thai Cafe. As an ethnic food specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods that showcase the authentic flavors of Thailand.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position offering 35-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure to deliver high-quality dishes to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers on preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient ordering and stock management.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for employees and customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift heavy objects.

Estimated Salary:
