Job Summary:
We're seeking a Senior HR Business Partner for our Client Delivery Canada Region. The ideal candidate lives in the Greater Toronto Area and can work on-site at our Toronto office at least twice a week.
As a key partner in the region, you'll support local leaders in determining priorities, challenges, and people needs to design and implement best-in-class people solutions that meet and exceed regional goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership to implement and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Lead talent development and succession planning initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent
- Implement effective performance management processes, including coaching, organizational design, promotions, and career development
- Partner with senior leadership to identify organizational needs and develop change management initiatives
- Remain current with employment laws and regulations to ensure HR policies, practices, and programs are compliant
- Foster a positive employee experience through initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being
- Utilize Workday HRIS data and metrics to drive data-informed decision-making related to employee engagement, performance, and retention
Requirements:
- ~5-8 years of extensive experience in a strategic HR business partnership role
- Elevated bias for action and ability to build trust and relationships across all levels of the business
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly understand business strategies and translate them into people strategies
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
- Experience with developing organizational structures, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and administration
Target Compensation:
$125,000 - $145,000 CAD annually + annual bonus
