Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Director, Data Management to join our team at Bank of Montreal. This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of data management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Provide subject matter expertise on data management and risk management to senior leaders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and industry partners
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data management and risk management
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to manage data and risk effectively
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in data management and risk management
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study
  • Expert-level program management skills
  • Able to manage ambiguity and make data-driven decisions
