Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Coast Nisku Inn & Conference Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and maintain effective policies and procedures to ensure seamless hotel operations, including front desk duties, staff supervision, and budget management.
- Recruit and Hire Staff: Attract, select, and hire top talent to join our team, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Supervise Staff: Lead and develop our front desk team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure excellent guest service.
- Perform Front Desk Duties: Provide exceptional guest service, handle customer complaints, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Develop and manage budgets, track revenues and expenses, and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
- Prepare Marketing Plans: Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new guests and increase revenue.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in hotel operations or a related field.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
