We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit Landscape Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Arctic Turf. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces.

About the Job

As a Landscape Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to assist with various landscape constructions, including cutting grass, raking, collecting refuse, and removing litter and garbage. You will also be responsible for carting and spreading topsoil and other materials, as well as planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including site preparation and installation of hardscapes and softscapes.
  • Cut and maintain grass, as well as trim and prune plants and trees.
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage from outdoor spaces.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials, such as mulch and gravel.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
  • Perform tree removals, and build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations.
Requirements

To be successful as a Landscape Maintenance Specialist, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
