Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at Arctic Turf. As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and removing litter and garbage. You will also be responsible for carting and spreading topsoil and other materials, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, applying fertilizers, and watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens. Additionally, you will operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment and perform tree removal tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically demanding, and have excellent hand-eye coordination. Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions
  • Cut grass
  • Rake and collect refuse
  • Remove litter and garbage
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Apply fertilizers
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
  • Tree removal
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
