Job Title: Landscaping Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Landscaping Laborer to join our team at Arctic Turf. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with various landscaping tasks, including landscape construction, grass cutting, and removal of litter and garbage.

Key Responsibilities


  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns and gardens
  • Rake and collect refuse, remove litter and garbage
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools
  • Perform tree removal tasks as needed
  • Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations
  • Assist with snow removal during the winter months


Requirements


  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in landscaping or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Support for newcomer and refugee employees, including diversity and cross-cultural training
