Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead our team's integrated operations, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery to our clients. This role will involve planning, directing, and coordinating operations across multiple areas, providing leadership, mentoring, and direction to managers to support the growth of the Sutherland Group.

This position offers a unique opportunity to drive business development, collaborate with sales and marketing teams, and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the integrated operations of Sutherland Group companies, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop team members, identifying training needs and fostering a supportive environment that motivates individuals to excel.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive business development and identify new opportunities.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, construction management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, contract administration, and technical writing.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, and working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Experience working within a CRM system to manage project pipelines.

Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
