About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Machine Operator to join our team at ZONAS CANADA INC. in a food processing plant environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain machinery to process and package food products, ensuring high-quality output and adhering to company standards.
  • Record production data and monitor processing conditions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to address mechanical issues and product irregularities, and make adjustments to process variables as needed.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Participate in shift log maintenance and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a team player attitude.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Availability to work 30 hours per week.
Work Environment

This role is based in a food processing plant environment, with a focus on baking and packaging operations.
