Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate and maintain our bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and packaging machines, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Record Production Data: Accurately record production information, including quantities, quality, and any issues that may arise during the production process.
  • Monitor Processing Conditions: Continuously monitor gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify that processing conditions are met and products are of high quality.
  • Clean and Maintain Work Areas: Clean and maintain the equipment and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Communicate with Supervisors: Inform supervisors of any mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities, and make adjustments to process variables as needed.
  • Set Up and Adjust Equipment: Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Inspect Products: Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet company standards.
  • Obtain Certifications: Possess a Safe Food Handling certificate and adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food processing plant or bakery.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
