Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Respirologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary of $250,000 - $350,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods, and preparing research papers for publication and presentation. They will also study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases, supervise laboratory activities, act as consultants to other physicians, and order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures.

Work Environment

The Pediatric Respirologist will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and having excellent manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colours. They will be required to have accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, teamwork, and values and ethics.
