Procurement and Planning Manager

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Planning Manager to join our team at Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to the supply of raw materials, finished products, and services necessary for the proper functioning of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Management:
- Develop and implement international procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Control stock levels and optimize inventories to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Production Planning:
- Develop production plans based on sales and production capacities to meet customer demands and optimize production workflows.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels to avoid stock-outs and surpluses, and implement performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of inventory management processes.
- Analyze data to anticipate needs and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
- Continuous Improvement and Standardization:
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement and planning processes, and standardize business processes across all business entities.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Team Management:
- Supervise and support the procurement and planning team, and set clear goals and measure team performance.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Production Management, or related field.
- Experience:
- Significant work experience in a similar role, preferably in a production environment.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and international supply chain management.
- In-depth knowledge of production planning and inventory management techniques.
- Proficient in ERP tools and supply chain management software.
