Procurement Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Inventory Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise the purchasing team and ensure that all purchasing activities are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best possible prices and terms.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods, to ensure that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify any discrepancies or issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management and reduce costs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the purchasing team, including training and coaching to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, supply chain management, or logistics.
- At least five years of experience in a procurement or inventory management role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
