Procurement and Planning Manager

About the Role:
The Procurement and Planning Manager plays a crucial role in the operational success of Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc. by ensuring effective supply management and production planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement international procurement strategies to optimize costs and meet deadlines.
- Control stock levels and optimize inventories to ensure efficient production planning.
- Implement performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of inventory management processes.
- Analyze data to anticipate needs and adjust inventory levels.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement and planning processes.
- Standardize business processes across all business entities.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Supervise and support the procurement and planning team.
- Set clear goals and measure team performance.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and international supply chain management.
- In-depth knowledge of production planning and inventory management techniques.
- Proficient in ERP tools and supply chain management software.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Production Management, or related field.
- Bilingual French and English: Significant work experience in a similar role, preferably in a production environment.
- Certificate in Supply Chain Management (such as CPSM or APICS) is an asset.
