Procurement ManagerThis position offers an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to lead and optimize the direct procurement process, ensuring cost-effectiveness, risk mitigation, and supplier relationship excellence.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives and milestones to align with organizational goals.
- Manage and monitor the performance of existing suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal pricing and service levels.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and offerings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.
- Implement robust quality control measures to guarantee the reliability and consistency of procured materials and products.
- Proven experience in a procurement management role within a similar industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- A valid work permit to work in Canada.
