As a Sustainability and Risk Management Specialist at Club Med, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our guests, employees, and the environment. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives and drive sustainable development across our resorts.

About the Job

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing training programs to implementing new policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the CDV/General Manager on Hygiene, health & Safety and CSR topics
  • Lead audit missions in cooperation with internal or external suppliers
  • Define the training plan related to these topics as per needs and train and/or organize the trainings accordingly with external resources
  • Control the implementation and the respect of EHS by the different services in resort, and alert in case of non-compliance
  • Coordinate and follow up actions plans on hygiene, health & safety and CSR topics

You will also be responsible for guaranteeing the proper implementation of sustainable development policy (Happy to Care) & Green Globe requirements. This includes supporting the CDV in managing crisis situations & being the contact person for local authorities and Club Med EHS Teams.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Business Administration, or Occupational Health and Safety
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
