We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Key Account Manager to join our team at Puratos. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and profitability in the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Management
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize sales and profit growth potential.
    • Lead and coordinate projects with key stakeholders to deliver profitable growth.
    • Develop and execute joint business plans with customers to drive sales and revenue growth.
    • Communicate and monitor progress of key account strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sales Planning
    • Set up account plans and forecasts to drive sales and revenue growth.
    • Execute business reviews with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Technical Support
    • Present and implement innovations and tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
    • Provide proactive support and fast reactive troubleshooting and technical problem-solving at customer sites.
  • Budget Management
    • Ensure proper execution and tracking of assigned accounts to achieve annual budget targets.
    • Control discretionary expenses to meet company profit guidelines.
    • Manage pricing at customer level to drive sales and revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Education
    • University degree in commerce or food science.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5-10 years of proven successful sales track record in the food industry.
    • Experience in B2B sales and food manufacturing industry is an asset.
  • Skills
    • Bilingual in French and English is a must for this role.
    • Capacity to define and articulate a market and pricing strategy.
    • Sales negotiation and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build network of relationships in the industry and be perceived as a subject matter expert.
    • Basic knowledge of sales budgeting process, marketing techniques, production and distribution processes.
    • Able to think logically around issues and tasks and provide solutions.
    • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer relationship management.
    • Self-starter and able to work independently.
