Chief Information and Technology Officer

Mohawk College is seeking a visionary leader to drive innovation and technology transformation. As the Chief Information and Technology Officer, you will shape and execute our IT strategy, driving innovation across academic and administrative functions.

About the Opportunity

This role will be crucial in advancing our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and spearheading digital initiatives that align with our academic and business needs. You will lead teams in IT governance, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and agile delivery, ensuring seamless, high-quality technology solutions.

  • Develop and implement IT strategy, integrating emerging technologies like AI, data analytics, and cloud computing.
  • Foster collaboration between academic, administrative, and external stakeholders to drive digital transformation.
  • Oversee cybersecurity protocols to safeguard student data and institutional information.
  • Guide the migration to cloud-based solutions for enhanced efficiency and innovation.
  • Promote student-focused technologies that improve the digital learning experience.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor partnerships, and staff development, ensuring a high-performing and inclusive team.
