Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 41 Park Avenue East Holdings Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a coffee shop environment, with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
