Key Responsibilities

  • As a Department Sales Manager of Store Operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • You will also be responsible for coaching and developing your team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for building and managing a daily game and sales plan for the department, and creating development plans for full-time staff to improve performance gaps.
  • You will also be responsible for communicating skills proven through effective huddles/meetings/coaching sessions, and developing and maintaining a positive work environment for staff.

Requirements

  • You will have a customer-focused mindset and be able to plan, execute, and drive sales.
  • You will be a leader who leads by example and has a passion for coaching, developing, and inspiring your team.
  • You will be a culture and brand ambassador who loves the work and takes pride in our brand.
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years in a retail environment, preferably at a supervisory level, and a proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry is an asset.
