We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Job SummaryIn this role, you will provide speech language pathology services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients using evidence-based practices and standardized tests, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each patient.

Responsibilities- Provides speech language assessment of the patient's communication, speech, and swallow functional abilities, needs, and goals.
- Analyzes the patient's needs, establishes speech language and dysphagia diagnosis and prognosis, and develops an evidence-based intervention strategy.
- Implements interventions in accordance with established treatment guidelines and educates patients and caregivers regarding self-management and health promotion.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimize health outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC, including applicable College certification(s).
- A broad knowledge of speech language pathology theory and practice within a patient-centered model of care.
- The ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
