About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at ON TIME CITY LOGISTICS CORP. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, maintaining accurate and detailed records of logistics activities.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out on equipment and vehicles as needed.
  • Work Records and Logs: Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Order Compilation and Training: Compile worksheets and specifications of orders, train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Work Scheduling and Coordination: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources and meet deadlines.
  • Material Requisition and Dispatch: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required, and dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders.
  • Shipment Tracking: Keep track of shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Supervision and Teamwork
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 11-15 people to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Foster a collaborative and communicative team environment, promoting open communication and teamwork among team members.
Computer and Technology Skills
  • Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail required.
  • Physical Demands: Work under pressure, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.

Experience and Education
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a logistics or operations role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
