Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Wire EDM Field Service Technician to join our team at MC Machinery Systems. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for traveling to customer locations to diagnose and repair complex technical problems on Mitsubishi Machining products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer locations to diagnose and repair complex technical problems
  • Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs
  • Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
  • Document product problems and resolutions in detail
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2-year Electronic or Technical Degree, or equivalent experience
  • Skilled in Electrical measurement and inspection techniques
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems
  • Skilled in mechanical measurement and inspection techniques

Working Conditions:

This job operates mainly indoors, but may be exposed to changing weather conditions. The noise level is moderate to loud, and the position requires frequent driving and overtime work.

Physical Requirements:

This job requires frequent bending, twisting, standing, speaking, and hearing, as well as repetitive use of the hands and frequent lifting and carrying of 1-10 pounds.
