Job Title: Geomatics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Geomatics Engineer to join our team at Great North Drain Ltd. as a key member of our land survey and construction operations.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing land survey and construction projects, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise land survey and construction projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits to gather relevant information and assess project progress.
  • Perform technical analyses of survey and field data to develop topographic, soil, hydrological, or other information and prepare reports.
  • Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations.
  • Survey and assess designated sites to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Discuss work with supervisor and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in land survey and construction operations.
