About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geomatics Engineer to join our team at Great North Drain Ltd. as a key member of our land survey and construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise land survey and construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to guidelines and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits to gather relevant information and conduct technical analyses of survey and field data.
  • Develop topographic, soil, hydrological, and other information, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Ensure construction plans meet building codes and regulations, and survey designated sites.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to discuss work and ensure seamless project execution.
Team and Support
  • Lead a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Participate in mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
  • Enjoy flexible onboarding options, allowing you to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
