Job Title: Geomatics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Geomatics Engineer to join our team at Great North Drain Ltd. as a key member of our land survey and construction operations.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing land survey and construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate land survey and construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits to gather relevant information and ensure that all work is being carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  • Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data to develop topographic, soil, hydrological, or other information and prepare reports.
  • Ensure that construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations.
  • Survey and assess designated sites to ensure that they are suitable for construction and meet all relevant safety and environmental standards.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Discuss work with supervisor and provide regular updates on project progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as geomatics, surveying, or a related field.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
