Job Summary

We are seeking an analytical Data Entry Clerk to help organize and input a backlog of data for our Stoney Creek/Hamilton client in the not-for-profit sector. This role requires an independent worker with great attention to detail and strong proficiencies in managing and organizing databases.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and sort documents/data sheets for data entry
- Perform analysis using current databases
- Establish entry priorities by maintaining understanding of what data needs to be entered first
- Verify accurate data entry into the database
- Follow data program techniques and procedures to maintain data entry requirements
- Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, changing or deleting entered information
- Check completed work for accuracy and make any required changes immediately
- Filing/Scanning and additional administrative duties
- Reception Backup

Requirements
- Adequate knowledge of databases systems
- Must have analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be detail-oriented and a self-starter
- 2-3 years of experience in data entry in a warehouse/distribution setting
- Able to work independently

What We Offer
- 3-month contract
- $24-26/hour
- Monday-Friday
- 8:30am-4:30pm (half-hour unpaid lunch)
- Work with a well-established not-for-profit organization
- Accessible Stoney Creek/Hamilton location
