**Job Summary**


We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to assist a not-for-profit organization in Hamilton with their inventory data entry needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with databases and be able to maintain accurate records.



**Responsibilities:**



  • Prepare and sort documents/data sheets for data entry
  • Perform analysis using current databases
  • Establish entry priorities by maintaining understanding of what data needs to be entered first
  • Verify accurate data entry into the database
  • Follow data program techniques and procedures to maintain data entry requirements
  • Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, changing or deleting entered information
  • Check completed work for accuracy and make any required changes immediately
  • Filing/Scanning and additional administrative duties
  • Reception Backup


**Requirements:**



  • Adequate knowledge of databases systems
  • Must have analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and a self-starter
  • 2-3 years of experience in data entry in a warehouse/distribution setting
  • Able to work independently
