Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Lead, Performance and Accountability Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your coordination and stakeholder engagement skills to enable Ontario's hospitals and other healthcare facilities to provide timely, equitable, and appropriate access to healthcare services for all Ontarians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the ongoing management of several large, complex hospital/facility funding agreements.
  • Lead ongoing funding operations related to health service funding models.
  • Work in close collaboration with organizational partners to ensure contracts are developed and issued in a timely manner.
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues to timely contract issuance.
  • Understand, interpret, and communicate complex data analysis and results.
  • Consulting with OH programs on strategies to address performance challenges.
  • Monitor performance data and support OH programs to escalate issues.
  • Develop and deliver analysis, reports, business cases, communications, and presentations.
  • Lead initiative/project-related meetings and track action items.
  • Act as a primary liaison and subject matter expert on specific funding agreements.
  • Support initiatives/projects to develop QI and process improvement strategies.
  • Work in a self-directed manner, providing leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or other relevant field.
  • A Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or other relevant field is considered an asset.
  • At least three to five years of related healthcare experience.
  • Proven track record leading/supporting complex large-scale projects preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with contract management, financial analysis, and health service funding models is considered an asset.

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Superior attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, especially with respect to written communications.
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and be committed to organizational health, culture, and values.
