About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team at ClearPier Performance Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax and income tax returns.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
