About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join our team on a full-time basis in Uxbridge, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up CNC machines with precision and efficiency, utilizing a variety of measuring tools to ensure accuracy in machining processes, and making mechanical adjustments as needed to maintain machine performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Addressing mechanical adjustments when necessary to optimize machine performance.
  • Operating and setting up CNC machines with precision and efficiency, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Utilizing various measuring tools to guarantee accuracy in machining processes.
  • Making mechanical adjustments as needed to maintain machine performance and quality standards.
  • Working within tight tolerances to meet industry expectations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in CNC operation and setup is required for this role.
  • Proven experience with milling and/or lathe operations is essential for success in this position.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and self-motivation are crucial for this role.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – are required.
