About the Role

This role involves becoming an integral member of our emergency care team, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care. As an Emergency Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert nursing care to patients in the emergency department;
  • Collaborating with the interprofessional team to develop and implement patient care plans;
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records;
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care;
  • Engaging in professional development to stay current with best practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience;
  • ENPC certification (or willing to complete within 6 months of hire);
  • Proficient computer skills; and
  • A commitment to patient-centred care and a healthy work environment.
