We are seeking a highly skilled Welder to join our team at Koch-Glitsch's Uxbridge, Ontario facility. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art mass transfer and mist elimination products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for embracing Koch PBM Guiding Principles and EH&S compliance requirements, driving continuous improvement efforts, and supporting a proactive safety culture. You will also be required to safely setup and operate all equipment, read and interpret blueprints and drawing specifications, and assemble parts to be welded.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operate various equipment such as drill presses, grinders, and welding machines
  • Assemble and weld parts using SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW techniques
  • Monitor machine output to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design fixtures, tools, and jigs

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience within a fabrication department, preferably with welding and fitting pipe from drawings
  • Ability to pass ASME weld tests
  • Knowledge of stainless steel, carbon steel, and exotic alloys
