Job Title: Food Service Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Duke & Lion Family Co.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service counter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and package take-out food.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, handle customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, overtime required, and willingness to relocate.
