Food Service Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Duke & Lion Family Co.
Key Responsibilities- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment in the kitchen and dining areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, and keep records of the quantities of food used.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, take customers' orders, and handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including conventional ovens, deep fryers, electronic cash registers, food dispensers, and grills.
- Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires standing for extended periods.
