About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Duke & Lion Family Co.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment in the kitchen and dining areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and package take-out food.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, take customers' orders, and handle customer inquiries.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain manual and electrical appliances, including conventional ovens, deep fryers, and electronic cash registers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires standing for extended periods.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
