Field Operations Manager

Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Foreman to join our Ottawa Construction & Forestry team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our field technicians, ensuring quality repair work, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and dispatch field technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Supervise and mentor service technicians to maintain high-quality repair work and promote a culture of excellence
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company standards
- Collaborate with the service team and other branch personnel to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide solutions
- Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department, opening and closing work orders, and preparing work orders for warranty
- Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset
- Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required
- Experience in a service department setting required
- Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred
- Forklift license preferred
- Strong organizational skills and basic Microsoft Office skills required
- Candidates must be willing to be available after-hours and able to lift up to 50 pounds
