About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Success Solutions Home Care Agency Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supervise and participate in patients' exercise routines to promote physical well-being.
  • Prepare and serve meal trays, and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Transport patients between care facilities, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Participate in patient care planning and implementation, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to lift, turn, and position patients safely, with a maximum weight handling capacity of 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client care and satisfaction.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Proficiency in English language, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
