Maintenance Manager Job Description

Sofina Foods Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team in Port Coquitlam, BC.

About the Role:

  • Lead the maintenance team to ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and manage annual maintenance costs, analyzing opportunities for savings.
  • Administer the Preventative Maintenance Program to prevent equipment breakdown.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to staff, including hiring, performance reviews, and training.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and throughput.
  • Source and supervise third-party contractors for repairs and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years management experience in a trade/engineering-oriented function.
  • Qualification in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering certification.
  • Working knowledge of CAD systems and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong project management skills and hands-on experience.
